"Giving the tattoo artist freedom turned out to be the best decision ever."

When Silvia was 18, she had a tribal tattoo done in an impulsive mood. Over the years, her enthusiasm for that "youthful sin" diminished more and more, so she decided to go for a cover-up. Tattoo artist Magnus Oleg went to work with Silvia's wishes and turned it into a beautiful upper arm sleeve. One with a special meaning this time. "The result is even better than I expected!" said Silvia.

About Silvia

Silvia (45) from Izegem is married and fills her days as a logistics clerk in a hospital. She also likes to indulge in Rammstein concerts, her absolute favorite. When she's not scanning "Ich will" along, she likes to find the peace and quiet of a walk, a bike ride or binge-watching a series from time to time. Silvia is unintentionally childless. That's why she chose a black panther for her realism tattoo, symbolizing the strength with which she deals with that grief.

Reassured in the tattoo chair

"At first I was a little afraid to go to a foreign artist - my English is not that great and since I wanted a realism tattoo, it really had to be right. But those fears immediately proved unfounded. Magnus reassured me, the communication went very smoothly, and when I saw his design, I was completely sold. More than a cover-up

"I really wanted a strong animal on my upper arm - a panther or a leopard. In the end we chose a leopard to cover my old tattoo, I left the elaboration of it entirely to Magnus. So I gave him quite a lot of freedom and that turned out to be the best decision ever. He turned it into a beautiful whole, with a jungle-like framework that he extended all the way to my elbow where there was an ugly scar that had been bothering me for a long time. Thanks to Magnus' artful skills, there is now absolutely nothing of it, not of the old tattoo, not of my scar. Truly an incredibly beautiful and natural result that I am very happy with!"
