Our team of talented realistic tattoo artists
In our tattoo shop we work with both regular artists and guest artists, and each of them brings their own unique style and skills. On our website you can easily see which artist specializes in which tattoo style.
Our regular artists are available throughout the year. You can view their schedule and schedule an appointment right away - online or just at our shop.
Our guest artists usually stay only temporarily, so keep an eye on our website and pop in to see if your project can be done within their stay.
Oleksandr Minec "AL MINZ for the Belgians"
Al Minz is one of our favorite guest artists when it comes to realistic tattoos. He translates every photo into stunning hyper-realistic works of art. He has been a regular guest at several of our studios since 2019, and his work continues to impress time and time again!
Want to get a photo-realistic tattoo of your pet or a loved one - in black and white or color? Then you are in excellent hands with Al Minz!
Dmitry Khmarsky
Dmitry has also been a regular guest artist at Inksane since 2018, and he regularly stops by for guest spots - in several of our studios (Brussels, Roeselare, Saint Nicholas...). We always look forward to seeing him, because his work is of an exceptionally high standard!
Are you looking for a realistic tattoo that really impresses, especially in color? Believe us: Dmitry is the artist you are looking for!
What makes a tattoo realistic?
A tattoo is considered realistic when it reproduces reality as accurately as possible on the skin, with great attention to detail. This means that the design looks like a photo or painting, with a realistic look and stunning details.
Features
Precision of details:
The tattoo artist pays close attention to every little detail and design to recreate the subject (such as a portrait, animal or object) with extreme precision. Every aspect, from the fine wrinkles to the details of the hairs, is carefully rendered.
Use of light and shadow:
Realistic tattoos are distinguished by the masterful use of shadows and light. This creates depth, contrast and a three-dimensional effect, making it seem as if the tattoo really “comes to life.” This technique is not only visually stunning, but also highly sought after.
Few or no contour lines:
Unlike traditional tattoos, realism typically does not use thick black lines. The transitions are soft and smooth, contributing to the natural and photorealistic result of the tattoo.
Color or black and white:
Realistic tattoos can be done in either color or black and gray. Both variations use subtle color transitions and shadows to achieve the desired effect.
Texture and skin tone:
A realistic tattoo often includes different textures and skin colors, applied with extreme precision to make the subject appear as realistic as possible.
Technical Skills:
Creating a realistic tattoo requires a lot of experience, artistic insight and technical skills on the part of the artist. Not all tattoo artists have mastered this complex style.
Popular themes:
Popular subjects for realistic tattoos are usually people, animals, nature (such as flowers) or objects from everyday life. The forearms and upper arms are the most popular areas for these tattoos, as they best show off the style of the tattoo. Portraits of celebrities are also a frequently chosen theme for realistic tattoos.
Tattoo and Safety:
Tattoos are an art that requires great attention to detail, but also a serious focus on safety. At Inksane, we are your guide and follow strict protocols to ensure the health and safety of our clients. Our tattoo artists use sterilized equipment and wear gloves to prevent the spread of disease. Every tattoo session is performed in a clean and controlled environment, so we can ensure a safe experience for everyone.
As a client, it is also very important to carefully follow your tattoo artist's aftercare instructions for optimal healing and to avoid complications.
Tattoo and Pregnancy:
Although there is no direct evidence that tattoos affect pregnancy, there are several risks to consider. During the process of getting a tattoo, small injuries occur on the skin, which can lead to infections. While these infections are usually harmless to the person getting the tattoo, they can be dangerous to your unborn baby.
In addition, the ink used during tattooing can enter the bloodstream. While this is usually not a problem for an adult, the potential effects on a fetus have not yet been clearly established. Therefore, as a precaution, it is best not to take risks during this sensitive period.
Your body changes
During pregnancy, the skin undergoes significant changes, especially around the abdomen, hips and breasts, which can stretch. This can change the appearance of your tattoo once the pregnancy is over. You may also develop stretch marks, which can distort the shape of the tattoo.
Our recommendation: Wait a minute.
At Inksane, we prioritize safety and aesthetics. That's why we recommend that all pregnant women delay their tattoo project until after delivery, to ensure both your safety and that of your baby, and to get a tattoo that you can be proud of.
The guest artists
At Inksane, we are privileged to regularly welcome renowned guest artists. These tattoo artists bring their expertise and unique style, giving our clients the opportunity to get tattooed by top artists and make their dreams come true. The guest artists come from different countries and have diverse specializations, from realism to minimalism. This diversity enriches our studio and offers our clients a wide range of styles and techniques. Follow our website to learn more about future guest artists and schedule your appointment with them.

Care and Maintenance:
The care and maintenance of a tattoo are essential to ensure rapid healing and optimal appearance of your artwork. After a tattoo session, it is crucial to follow your tattoo artist's care instructions to minimize infection risks and promote healthy healing. This typically includes using specific care creams, avoiding sunlight and swimming pools, and keeping the skin well moisturized.
At Inksane, we offer our clients detailed aftercare instructions and are always available to answer any questions or concerns. We also recommend high-quality care products to maintain the health and beauty of your tattoo.
The Aftercare of a Tattoo
The post-tattoo period is a crucial phase that requires special attention for complete healing and optimal appearance of your tattoo. During the first few weeks after the tattoo session, it is essential to carefully follow your artist's aftercare instructions. This includes avoiding activities that may irritate the skin, such as swimming or sunbathing, and keeping the skin well moisturized to promote the regeneration process.
Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your tattoo experience and that your artwork remains beautiful and vibrant for many years to come. Aftercare determines the final results.

Is there a price difference between color tattoos and black and gray tattoos?
A one-day session with the same tattoo artist has the same price, regardless of whether it is a color tattoo or a black and gray tattoo.
An artist who specializes in color is no more expensive than an artist who specializes in black and gray.
However, it is true that black and white tattoos progress faster, so you will see more results after a one-day session.
