What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup is exactly what the name says. By applying makeup permanently, you’ll waste less time applying it in the morning! It’s used to accentuate or correct eyes, eyebrows or lips. We always strive for a natural effect. To get this, the ink is less deep in the skin and the lines are softer. Eventually, this means it’ll fade because of exposure to UV-light and your skin which cleanses itself and the upper layers.
It stays for about 3 to 5 years.

Unhappy with your current permanent makeup? We can also remove it by using a saline solution to get the pigments out of the skin.

How does it work?

Before the permanent makeup is applied, the design is drawn on the skin. Like this, you’ll have an idea of what it’ll look like. You can also take a look at different colours and designs before you make a final decision. During the treatment we use anaesthetic ointments. Once you’re certain about the design and colour of the makeup, we start the process. The pigment is applied using needles that go into the skin.

Which options are available?

You can get a line above or below the eye. You can also choose the style: an outspoken, thicker line or a more subtle line. This should accentuate your eyes while keeping in mind the shape of your eyes.

You can fill in bald spots, correct the shape or accentuate your eyebrows by using permanent makeup.

A different technique that’s also used for eyebrows is microblading. The difference here is that it’s applied by hand instead of a machine. The pigment goes less deep into the skin, which creates a natural effect and simulates hair. This option is great for people who still have doubts or don’t want to take the leap into permanent makeup. Microblading is semi-permanent and disappears after 6 months to a year.

There’s two options when you choose microblading: strokes or powder effect. With strokes, you are simulating the hairs. With the powder effect, your eyebrows are filled completely as if there is a shadow under them. Microblading can also fill up holes in the eyebrows. That way, you don’t have to fill in your entire eyebrow at once.

There’s also different options for treating your lips. You can choose to define the contour of your lips by using different colours. You can choose between natural colours or darker colours. Depending on your choice, you’ll create a different effect.

You can also combine the above with a shadow. A line is combined with a shadow going inward, which creates the effect of fuller lips. You can also choose full lips. This option colours your lips entirely as if you’re wearing lipstick.
